Hilarious, and touching, and hot! Rodney's inability to keep his mouth shut works perfectly, from the sarcasm that gets them in trouble to "Can I call you John now?" and all of the things Carson didn't really want to hear. His conversations with Carson are great.
I particularly love John, here:
"I hate to break it to you, Rodney," Sheppard finally said, voice antarctically cold, "but gay was kind of normal for me to begin with."
And Rodney's pledge and this exchange make me all melty with happiness:
"Rodney," John said, voice no more than a whisper.
"Yes. I get it now."
John, breathing hard, pulled him into an embrace. "Do you?"
